PH 17 and 18/18A Reservation Form
To book a room, instructors can check the calendars below before to see when the computer labs are available and then click on the button above to submit a request.
*If the correct calendar doesn't appear, please select from the "Choose Calendar" dropdown in the upper right corner.
Upon receiving a request, the CLCL will book the room if available and send a confirmation e-mail. Instructors can then add the event to their own Outlook calendars. If unavailable, we will reach out to see if another room or time works.
PH 17 - Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) Lab
To foster language learning, the CLCL oversees the Computer-Aided Language Learning (CALL) Lab in Phillips Hall (PH) 17. Each of the lab’s 24 computers is equipped with Microsoft Office Suite, Camtasia, webcams, headsets with microphones, and Sanako 1200, making the CALL Lab well-suited for receptive & productive language assessment, speaking & pronunciation practice, pair & group activities, editing projects, data collection, research, writing, or any other project that requires technology and/or student collaboration. Departments in the Division of World Languages, Literatures, and Cultures (DWLLC) have successfully used the CALL Lab for a wide variety of activities and assessments.
PH 18 & 18A - Testing Centers
The CLCL also oversees the scheduling of testing centers in PH 18 and 18A, labs with 20 computers each. These labs are equipped with Microsoft Office Suite and webcams, making these rooms well-suited for language assessment, research, and writing projects. The testing centers in PH 18 and 18A are used primarily by the Department of Spanish & Portuguese, but all DWLLC departments have used them for a variety of activities and assessments.
