"My favorite Japanese courses (besides the language classes) were Japanese Film and Language in Japanese Society! Japanese Film was super interesting because I got to see how Japanese filmmakers interpreted what was happening politically and historically, how they incorporated that into their productions, and how their creations impacted Western filmmaking. Language in Japanese Socity was a great class because it helped me understanding and learn about the intricacies of Japanese language that wouldn't have time to be covered in such depth in the language classes."
